I make a template out of 1/32" thick plastic. I also make a spacer out of a piece of scrap balsa & place it & the template on top of the piece of balsa I will be cutting ribs out of. I cut one rib, then slice a strip the thickness of one rib off the spacer move the template down & cut another rib. Repeat.

I have been using JJ rib slicing tool for all models but, of course, it is not sold anymore.
It is easier and faster than using a 2 micrometers type balsa stripper like Indoor Model Specialties.
What tool do you use to slice ribs? What do you recommend to newcomers?
We can find rubber strippers, winders, balsa slitters, scales and many other tools but cannot find a rib slicing tool (and an analog TQ meter).
Good flying, Aki, my PC broke this week and lost all emails and email addresses...
