Thanks for all the advice. I suppose I should have said I'm trying to thin
finishing epoxy down to get some weight off of it for making tissue tubes.

The heating pad idea sounds reproducible.

I've tried thinning the glue with isopropyl alcohol but that seems to
weaken the bond a little.
