Thank you Mark!
It was challenging for sure but I was proud of the boys and how they handled everything. Parker won the Dorcol with his #2 plane and then when we started practicing for the WC he was hit by some really bad luck. He had a bracing wire break on his #1 plane and it totally destroyed the motorstick. Then right after removing the blast shield on his #2 plane he had a motor explode and blew all kind of holes in that one...It never flew the same again after the repairs. So he ended up doing the best he could with the #3 set-up. Once the competition started there just wasn't enough practice time to get things as dialed in as the #2 was. What I am most proud of, was after the final round was posted, he headed over to the other side of the hall to shake the hands of Lucas, Alexander, and Gabriela un-prompted, really makes a father proud. Spencer established a new US Junior CAT 3 record of 28:04 on his last flight. He made some phenominal steers and throughout the week helped the British Junior's with their first attempts at steering. That was fun to watch.
