Hi Dennis et al - just wanted to add my praise to Parker & Spencer. It
was great to be camped next to you guys in Hall 1 and we (the Aussies)
very impressed with the way the Juniors in general conducted
themselves. A great future for indoor as far as I can see.
Max and I had a great time and had heaps of support/assistance from
the teams around us, enjoyed being close to the Lithuanians,
Japanese... made great friends with many others including some old
friends (Mikita, Klara, Gabriela - well done) it was great to see them
again.
A huge battle for the top spots with UK, US pushing hard - but Ivan
and Lutz showing us some flights we will remember forever.
Really glad I was able to get there - and many thanks to the Oz team,
my partner Carla of course who had to do a LOT behind the scenes to
keep me going - and special thanks to Nikola (Dorcol CD) who
personally assisted me to interpret and obtain some much needed
pharmaceuticals after arriving somewhat the worse for wear from a bike
accident just before I left.
(I will not be on my bicycle 1 week before the NEXT W/Chs!)
What an amazing experience and dream come true :-)
