The morning round was flow from 9 to 13 (1pm), and people were at the
hall already at 8am to put in practice flights. Then there was the
2-hour lunch break, at which re-flights had preference, but the latter
hour was typically "free". And when the evening round ended at 7pm (plus
models landing plus re-flights) the trimming started again and went on
until 22 (10pm) when the lights were shut down.
So there was a chance of trimming during the contest days. in addition,
you were allowed to fly on the sides of the hall (central floor
dedicated to contest flights), so even during the rounds 1/2 -motor test
flights were possible. Although this year due to the ground turbulence,
the balcony flights were rather useless.
Also, you had 2 full test fly days, plus 2 contest days of Dorcol Cup
and one practice day of Dorcol Cup to fly.
