Mike,

CP can be dyed. If you are using the unbleached type readily available
in the U.S.A. and you want nice vibrant, bright colors you will need to
bleach it first. See attached photo of bleached and dyed CP. I am off
to the AMA Nats tomorrow so will not have email access until I return home.
