Randy, F1K is a nonscale class. Most of the models are built very light with pretty complex DT arrangements to make them come down reliably.

There is an FAI CO2 scale class (designation escapes me at the moment). It's flown in the UK and Europe. None of the FAI scale classes are flown in the US, or at least not in accordance with FAI rules (I'm thinking of peanut and pistachio).
