LeRoy,

I usually glue the posts to the wing and glue tubes to the motor stick, Some people put  tubes on both the wing and motor stick to make the wing posts removeable for closer storage.

Making ribs. You definitly want to use a rib template. I like to cut my rib stock to the exact length I want the final rib, or maybe a skoash long (like 1/100) so the rib fits snugly in the templated wing. Now, once I am ready to actually cut ribs I take a stack of, say 1/16 sticks and stack them up horizontally 'below' the rib template and remove one after each rib I cut. This ensures a nice consistent depth for all the ribs.

I'm trying to build a couple new planes and have a couple of questions:

1. When you put the tissue tube on the wing of an LPP do you usually also
use a tube on the motor stick or glue the wing posts on to the motor
stick?

2. Is there an easy way to strip ribs accurately, such as for an LPP or
MiniStick ?
