Your problem is that you want the event to be one thing, but the rules
define it to be something else.

Nope. The *event* is the average model that weighs (I'm guessing) 4-8 grams
and has a 6-8" or so prop, built by the average FACer. A 2-3 gram model with
a 12" prop is an outlier, an absurdity to most.

You are then trying to use the, "but they meant it to mean..." argument,
which has a little issue on the enforcement side of things.

I'm telling you the reality of the FAC worldview. I didn't say it was
perfect or that FAC was always right. But they would most definitely have
something to say about such an absurdity. Don't like it? Don't join FAC or
fly their events.

Here's the paradox, though: some people, like the average FACer, simply
enjoy flying a model for fun - other people, like you, me, and Don S., enjoy
trying to do our best with said model. So, why is it that the fun-flyers get
upset with those who enjoy trying to get the most out of a plane?

Hmmm. A fair question, if we were talking about incremental differences, but
we're not. A floppy 2.5 gram no-cal is like a 150# transgender "girl"
showing up to a fifth grade girls soccer tryout.

The answer is, it isn't really a paradox. The fun-flyers don't care! It is
only you that cares, and you aren't a fun-flyer.

Bullshit. Let's poll some FACers! But, Don is afraid to. Because he smart
enough to know he'd get creamed in a survey.

Hey, I can't help it if I understand FAC and you two don't :-) If you really
care to understand it (you don't, I know) go to Geneseo. Again, they are far
from perfect and I've had plenty of disagreements with them, but I love them
warts and all.
