To all..., etc..,
I've been following the indoor champs thread and until I see results, I
will be a bit confused...my bad. Is there a separation of events from AMA,
NFFS, FAI or? My thinking is resolving events into something other than
"specialty" events that seem to have evolved.
For example...
How about if EZB had simple rules like A6...1/16" minimum cross section for
any and all members...that could mean 1/16" sq spars, 1/32" x 1/8" ribs,
etc....paper covered (condenser included)...minimum 1/32" thickness sheet on
anything (props/etc.), flat blade prop...no weight rules (?).
THEN.....an event called "SUPER B!" Same configurations as EZB, but no
rules on minimum weight, covering material or anything else except solid
material for prop...balsa or plastic, no built ups...plus any type of
commercial covering. Plus, any records and such can be rolled from EZB into a Super
B event...it's just a re-name.
The reason there is an A6,, so it seems to me... is because the EZB rules,
which was meant to be an entry level event, allowed anything and
everything and evolved into what it is...a "Super B" event. Penny has a basic and
an Unlimited category..so why not?
Plus, what is the list of "official" indoor events...and where are they?
Etc....
