Ben I think I understand now. You don't think I'm a true Indoorist. I'm not; I'm a Free Flighter. I've only been to two of the last six USICs. And Tustin in 2010. Never Lakehurst or Kent. Would love to but having a three-year old daughter and a wife that travels about 50% precludes more than about 4-5 contest trips a year.

I've been a CD for twenty years and I've run 3-4 indoor contests a year for the last 12 years at our Cat II site in Colorado Springs.

But again, I'm no Indoorist.

There are plenty of people who fly or drive a longer distance. (Steve Brown, Kang, etc) There are also people who come to USIC even despite serious health issues.....Hack used to go to contests with an oxygen tank! These guys come because they love it, because they are passionate about it. They do not care if more people fly outdoors, or CL, or anything else for that matter.

I have spent nearly 3 years and thousands of my hard-earned dollars on this project because I am passionate about indoor and want the world to know about it. To date the trailer has been watched over 200,000 times, and has over 1.3 MIllion hits. I know what you are going to say - Who is going to actually turn off the TV to build a plane? Thats not the point. The point is to show it to them, in the most honest way possible. To capture the beauty of the planes, the fun of the competitions, and the passion, drive, and determination of the competitors.
