I opened my model boxes today and checked the hook.

This must be a very good idea to prevent rubber from falling off. But I do
not like it very much because hooking rubber is one of most critical
situation of indoor models, especially for my presbyopic and astigmatism
eye.

My A-6 hook is not closed. It is rev-S and opened-end as usual. My prop is
removal (adjustable) blades, so I should build new prop hub with more closed
hook.
I used two heat shrink tubing over each end of rubber. It was only about
1/4" long and might be too short to work. But 1/2" long tube is heavy. And
troublesome when making, lubing, winding and hooking rubber. I should find
smaller Orings with smaller dia heat shrink tubes.
