Hi Joshua,

When I was co-event director, I tried to get the AMA to use use "AMA" and "non-AMA" (as in, in our case, NFFS), instead of "Official" and "unofficial". The reasoning being that the NFFS events are official, and we do keep records. They are just not AMA events.

Also, there are really two contests in one: the AMA Indoor FF Nats, and the NFFS US Indoor Championships. Each has it's own events.

Both types have a "first event fee", NFFS and AMA.

Clear as mud?
