Tom,
Thanks for filling in the details. One thing I like about A6 is that there is more room for experimentation in the configuration of the airplane than in most other classes.

The A6 I hoped to do well with at Kent was a low aspect ratio model with tip plates. Very similar to a slightly larger mini stick. The idea was to be able to fly in tight circles between the beams and take full advantage of the ceiling height. The prop was not a VP, but built to flair. The tight circles and low aspect ratio did not produce satisfactory times during Saturdays record trial. I switched to my standard high ratio model and did 7:10 just touching a light once. Bill later put up a 7:26 for the record. I was hoping to better that on Sunday during the contest with my standard A6. The model however seemed to have the Velcro syndrome, hanging up on each of the five official flight attempts.

I don't think Tom used a VP but he did have the most bizarre blade shape I've run across<g>. The model had a flat wing with tip plates so I guess we can say for sure that such a configuration works for A6. At some point Tom switched to a more conventional high aspect ratio model. I don't know which model had the best times.

Kang,
Thanks for posting the videos. It looks like a challanging place to fly.
Does anyone know if the results with times have been posted anywhere?
Also, did Top Solva try a VP porp on his A6. That had been the speculation before the event.

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] Videos from Kent 2012
I finally processed and uploaded the videos from Kent.
There are F1D's, F1L's, EZB's, and LPP's. I missed Don's Cabin, A6's from Tom and Bill, and Ministicks.
F1D:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUVXjDhCPwo
- Sanborn and Kagan's F1D's
F1L:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcrUujbJyvY
- 4 different F1L's are shown
EZB:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-_jFxQO7Ig
- Only 1 EZB
LPP and rest:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfTAGugYYDI
- Bill, Leo, and Mzik
Enjoy.
