Plenty of guys on this list have good F1L designs, but I know Bill Gowen has won his fair share of events. Plans for his model are available at hippocketaeronautics.com. Bill is a regular over there so if you have any questions about the model you can ask him directly. He doesn't call out his prop info on the plans and I haven't flown F1L so I can't say what is best for pitch.

The usable block width varies from 2" to 2.75" along the 10" minimum length. The blocks are sold as cut and will require light sanding. Price is $20 which includes shipping in the US.
