Enjoying following this discussion. I am wondering how you hinge the lid and if the fuselage motor sticks are secured with foam holders.(sockets)? James Alderson

I use hot glue for my foamboard boxes. I use the dual temp glue variety so I need not remember what gun (high or low temp) I need to pick out although I rarely, if ever, use the low temp gun. You should easily have sufficient setup time to get the pieces aligned before the glue solidifies. I also use strapping tape near the corners just to play it safe, although this can lessen the looks of the finished box.

Then, I glued them with gorilla glue, because it's what I had to glue the foam sides together. I didn't like working with gorilla glue, mainly due to its long set time. In the future, I would just use any kind of white glue.
