Mike,

12x24 is a pretty common prop for LPP. In a building that size you should
look at prop designs that will flare. You want most of the blade area
forward of the spar. Even with a flaring prop you'll be bouncing on the
ceiling unless you back off a lot of turns.

If you're planning to fly F1D in a small site without a VP prop I would
recommend using partial motors. Bouncing an F1D off the ceiling won't
usually end well. Something in the neighborhood of 18x34 would be a good
place to start.
