Would the Cole Fieldhouse at the U of MD be a viable alternative? I think Its barely cat 3 site. Has anyone here flown there? The Maxecuters did last year but that was with scale ships so that would give no indication of drift/air quality. Just putting this out there to see what you think.

Even without the banners, Kibbie has more usable space and a higher ceiling. The center speaker cluster at ETSU is a problem.

I would also say flight times at the '96 world champs speak for themselves when talking about the Kibbie Dome. I was fortunate enough to be there and it was amazing.

Johnson City is an incredible site. I don't think it's "marginal", and I don't agree that "Kibbie is much better."

Let's pay the $1300 extra out of the pockets of the attendees. $25 or $50 per person extra is not too much to ask.

And perhaps ETSU will move the banners to the center girder, as John suggests. Then the banners will be of less nuisance.
