Jake,

That's great and I know well how great the site is. The big downside to
Kibbie is the remote location. If Kibbie were in the middle of the country
then I'd say let's move USIC there immediately!

A big hurdle to overcome is the * tradition * of USIC at ETSU. It has been
held there every year since 1987--combined with Nats all but three of those
years.

Tradition (for better or worse) is a powerful thing.

Don,

Renovations at the Kibbie Dome are complete and it's a much better site than
Johnson City. If you want more information contact me off list.

I'd encourage you to join NFFS and get involved with Nats planningWe need a
new Nats site.

Jake, I fly F1D with VD propellers. I know the risks, and it is 100% more
usable than the places I currently use for F1D testing. You take the risk or
you don't. I'm willing to because Kibbie is impossible for me and I enjoyed
attending USIC for the first time this year enough that I'd like to go
again.
