Kang,

Good to hear from you.

I was not consulted on hanging the banners, but that should be no
surprise. The Atlantic Sun Conference supplied the banners but required
that ETSU hang them for display. I think visibility for the fans and TV
cameras were the major considerations. There are other banners in the
dome but they are well to the sides over the stands. I assume that they
were trying to make all banners visible.

There are six major girders running North to South in the building. The
two center ones bracket the louver in the top center. The scoreboard is
suspended from the center girder just West of the center louver. The ten
new banners are hung on the center girder just East of the center louver
with 5 just North of center and 5 just South of center. The scoreboard
and new banner almost form an equilateral triangle in the top center
most desirable flying space.

The two main girders just outside the center ones are approximately over
the edge of the stands. The two main girders outside these are fully
over the stands. I assume the main girders 7 and 8 also exist but are
part of the West and East outside walls. Girders 7 and 8 are speculation
on my part.
