Day one was a great start to the next round of the US F1D cycle.
Attached is a score spreadsheet courtesy of Jeff Hood.
The main highlights were:
- a full Jr. Team of three! Great flying today by the Tyson brothers and
Tommy Iacobellis.
- a new national record by Brett Sanborn of 38:36 Congratulate Brett on his
first record and longest flight ever! A 17 second steer and landing
deadstick from 15 feet up leaves more room for improvement in the next six
rounds...
- great competition from all fliers in tough conditions. Steering was
required on all flights even though the weather was decent.
Tomorrows rounds should be fun to watch, look out for a record match between
John Kagan and Brett. There are many in the running so the team spots are
still anyone's to earn.
More to come tomorrow night.
