Tapio,

Good AND cheap often don't go together, but since you don't want a very long pole, and since the best carbon poles I know about are shipped from UK, you are in business, I believe. For example, the Leeda Assassin II has served me very well for 9 years. Expensive (back then) because it's 13 meters, comes with many extra replacement sections, and was shipped from UK to USA, which added $100 postage. I find the sectional system handier than telescopic, having tried both. (But my telescopic was fiberglass, long retired.) But if you gotta have something collapsable to 30 inches, that will maybe be only available telescopic.
