Hardly anybody flew B Stick and then, only for records. The only one I knew of who flew it was Bill Tyler.
Paper Stick came in because AMA had done away with the ROW and ROG events (except A ROG and the two Cabin events). B Stick, C Stick and B Cabin then were dropped somewhere in the 60's (I'm missing rule books from '62 to '68). In '69, EZB was a supplemental (non-record) event and stayed that way until 1980, when it became an official event. Pennyplane and Novice became official events in 1976, with no supplemental status.
