Didn't DeLoach's original proposal get shot down in favor of the "cross proposal" that became the final rule?

After a couple beers, I'm wondering how this one simple thing can get so many grown people wound up, me included. It's toy airplanes, for God's sake.

If you have not pushed the issue to make it an AMA event then A-6 would still be exactly how it has been for years. Just because it has now twisted into something you did not foresee or did not explain well enough to the ICB does not mean you had nothing to do with it and can simply wash your hands of what happened by blaming the Indoor Contest Board.
