Rules for FAI Indoor Events ?

I have not flown F1M or F1L recently and probably will never try F1D. It
is clear that F1D is scored as the best 2 of 6 flights. How do we do F1L
and F1M? I think that we have not been consistent. If these are truly
FAI events, should they also be scored as the sum of the best 2 of 6
flights?
