Hi Aki - every now and then a satellite crashes back to Earth... usually on Australia...
We have found bits of them (see link below) but the film doesn't survive the re-entry... :-)
I remember that when Skylab landed in Western Australia, the local Shire Council sent NASA a littering fine.
What goes up must come down I guess...
