I wish the CD who timed me on Dec. 10, 2010 was aware of that ruling. To make a
long story short the CAT I , CLT , UNLIMITED record that I broke that night was
thrown out. And so was the electric record that a junior broke. Thanks for
answering, and good luck with records, I wish I could make it to that site.
Ciao, Phedon.

A CD cannot time. All his timed records will be thrown out, that is if he is the

do with the sanction can time. You still need a RECORDS SANCTION from the AMA.
The RECORDS SANCTION CD can time only if he has stated beforehand in the
sanction papers that he wishes to time in which case there must be a second CD
available. Bothe names must be stated. Ciao, Phedon.

I am fully aware of the AMA rules in regards to the CD not being able to time
that is the reason for getting more alternate CDs. Due to the limited number of
people more than just one alternate CD can be added to the existing sanction so
that if the designated CD is going to fly or wants to time then he can designate
another to take his place while he is flying or timing, however the person they
designate must also be listed as an alternated CD on the sanction.  That is why
the more CDs the better. This is the only way to "pass the CD hat" when the
people trying for the records are also the only CDs available.
