It is confusing to those of us who don't live there. The recent contests were held at Tustin where there are 2 large hangars oriented at 90 degrees to one another. At Moffett there are 2 that are close together and parallel and another larger one farther away.
Incidentally the "small" hangars are about 285' wide and 1000' long according to Google Earth. The big one is about the same length but over 300' wide.

I'm confused, wasn't Moffett Field the one recently discussed as being used by Google? Sorry if I missed something obvious...

Subject: [Indoor_Construction] The Moffett Field airship hangars
I have a brother who lives in the vicinity of Moffett Field. There are three hangars, one very large one that once housed the USS Macon, the other two smaller units which were built during WWII to house blimps. He tells me that the big hangar has been off limits for several years because of either asbestos or lead paint "contamination." One of the small hangars is currently in use by the airship "Eureka," the dirigible currently flying sightseeing flights over the San Francisco area. The second small hangar is used for storage.
Interestingly, the big hangar was used for a number of years for regularly scheduled indoor flying and other activities. To my knowledge, no one ever suffered ill effects from their experiences there.
