The belt will drag. And since you will need two belts to get 10:1 the friction
will be excessive.

It is an OUTSTANDING tool. It is expertly machined out of aluminum billet with
high quality gears.

 
This is an heirloom piece that would be worth the money at twice the price.

How is the winder from A2Z that costs a little over $200.  It looks to be well
made and would last a long time.  It's a little expensive, but it would be worth
it for a high quality tool.
