FYI, Denver is an easy 1 hour 15 minute drive to Colorado Springs. And
hotels in and around the flyuing site are dirt cheap. I am talking $40-60.

The ticket to Denver was extremely cheap, only $149. Rental cars also
extremely cheap there, less than $20 per day. If you share the car with one
or two others, you can save a bundle flying in and out of Denver. I decided
to fly into Colorado Springs for the convenience, and also had no one else
to share the cost with.
