SO helicopters

FWIW, in some of the classes I mentored (not SO) we built kinda
helicopters - mostly "ceiling walkers", students seemed to learn a few
things.

I agree, the wright stuff (if it comes back) should get rid of the
plastic prop requirement, maybe allow it with a penalty to encourage
making your own, either carved warped or built up.

Unfortunately, the school system I volunteer with doesnt' "do" SO
anymore, guess it got too hard to find teachers that would work. {:-{

wombat -playing today with Dennydarts in the gym a bit, MKIII does
nicely, the new MKV should develop into a decent indoor flyer, two loops
of 3/32 SS made it a ceiling walker so try one loop next time.
