I believe the rules Fred posted were the 2009 trial event helicopter rules. As an aside, the 2009 rules were mistakenly posted on the soinc.org as the 2010 rules in the fall of 2009. The mistake was noticed and the correct 2010 helicopter trial rules were posted in late September 2009. It is my understanding that the 2011 rules have a 4 gram minimum weight and a 40 cm maximum rotor diameter, similar to the correct 2010 rules. If anyone has the printed 2011 rules, perhaps they could further clarify this.
