Tustin Indoor Flying

 

The Tustin Blimp Hangar may not be available after 2010.

 

I have been working to secure some flying time before closure. Progress has
been slow but is looking good. The plan is to get several weekends between
now and the end of the year. It will not be cheap but some price reduction
is possible by letting the hangar authorities "bump us" for a high paying
customer that might show up on one of "our" weekends. A bump is not too
likely but it is certainly possible.

 

The cost per person can't be determined at this time.

 

Besides weekends please also let me know if you would be interested in a
three-day flying event between Christmas and New Years.

 

The weekends of 30 and 31 Oct, 20 and 21 Nov, and 27 and 28 Nov are almost
certain dates.

 

It is necessary for people to express a serious desire for this opportunity.
Each session is to be sanctioned as a record trials, not a contest. This
gives more flexibility. This does not mean that you have to try for a
record; fun flying will be allowable.
