I like it!!

Personally, I can build, but I'm a beginner at duration build techniques. I didn't do the Pennyplane Pro/Am last year because I didn't feel that I needed a handout airplane, but I regret not doing it because I missed out on so much knowledge (brought to my attention by my buddy Ken Achee!).

How about, on one or two evenings early in the contest (or mornings during the Scale competitions), we do a Pro/Am Building Clinic for A6, build a model with the help of a mentor, then go out with our mentor and trim the thing & fly it in the contest? A6 is simple enough for that! And we Am's would learn twice as much, and BOM for future contests wouldn't be an issue. Instead of building a whole plane to give away, the mentors could select some nice materials and bring them to share. (Teach a man to fish...)
