Actually this sounds like yet another experts' event that will do nothing to
make indoor more appealing.

How many guys have the skills to roll a tube that small or build a VP prop
that small? And how many have 3# wood?!

<<Andrew and Wally Miller have designed a new class called "1/2 A" (15 sq.
in, 50% stab) which is to be a postal contest next year. Think-a mini-stick
that looks and flies like a regular model. There no other rules other than
.010 oz. (.2835g) minimum weight-meaning things like rolled tube ministicks,
VP props and the like. The five models present ranged from 7 1/2 minutes to
11 1/2 minutes with 18 minutes or so projected down the line. Andrew said
Larry Coslick (Mr. Light) has built one at .010 oz with a VP prop and loves
the class. Break out your 3# block of wood!>>

I like this concept, and hope to try soon, even though I don't do 3 lb wood.
