This is a bit off topic, but perhaps more of an obscure *find* than the thickness gauge topic.

If you are a fan of the movie "Christmas Story", (Ralphie and his quest to obtain the Red Rider Range Rifle BB gun,) then you know who Jean Shepherd is. He was the writer and narrator of that movie.

I have been a fan of his work for years, which includes several movies, PBS specials and radio work. Lately I have been listening to his old WOR radio broadcasts from the 60's and 70's online.

I stumbled across this unbelievable find today. As indoor fliers we will all find great interest in it. Give it a listen if you can, it runs about 20 minutes, worth every second in my opinion!
