I haven't seen this posted here so I'm passing it on for those who may not have heard yet.

I regret to announce that Jack McGillivray passed away early this morning.

Jack was a quiet unassuming man who constantly displayed great talents in many fields of freeflight.

He represented Canada at a number of World Championships on both Wakefield and Indoor, was a pioneer with folding wing gas models and later turned to rubber scale at which he excelled.

We who had the privilege of knowing and flying with him, will honour his memory.

Rest in peace ....
