There is one totally foolproof and easy way to make paper tubes. Sadly I spent many years spoiling a fair proportion of potential tubes before
the penny dropped. The secret is to roll the tube leaving ½ inch of tissue extending beyond the end of the mandrill. No matter how much cement
Is in contact between tissue and the surface of the mandrill the perfect tube is simply pulled off the mandrill.. Surely I cannot be the only indoor
modeller to do this?
