Why "experts" fly beginner events

If you want experts out of beginner events then you need to ask why do
experts fly in "beginner" events? I think because it is simply a new
event that they want to see how far they can personally push themselves
to see how far they can make a "beginners" plane go. It is the same as
buying a sleek streek and modifying it to get them fly much longer than
out of the bag. It is personal challenge to take a restricted
model/design and push to get the max duration as possible. The only way
to keep experts out it of such events is to offer up an alternative to
temp them away. Many of the AMA events we fly have been around for a
loooong time and after a while non official events like A-6 become
interesting as they are fresh meat.
