If that 0.123g saving is of structural difference to A6, then my
suggestion is to increase the minimum weight to, say, 1.5 grams. Then
you can add the structure anyway, and it does not make much difference
what plastic you use for covering. You may use OS, but really get no
advantage of it.

Here in Finland we fly a national beginners class. 480*80mm wing, 50%
stab, minimun weight _6_ grams, max 250mm dia prop. Still flies pretty
nice, best guys do over 7 minutes. Anyway, the good thing about the high
minimum weight is that you can use any plastic you desire, or even jap
tissue to cover it. One guy uses OS, and everyone else thinks he is
nuts with that. Moreover, you can use those light Ikara plastic props
and fly over 5 mins with them. THAT really makes the class attractive to
beginners.
