Ok, Leo, fair enough. I would quibble with the term "developed" even if I ever said that. The group did not try to change any common practice regarding A6, especially about covering. It was an attempt to agree, assert and self-ratify the most popular of the various rule variations. I barely remember what those variation were--things like prop wire shaft size. How 'bout a 1/32" wire MINIMUM, per the original 70s rules? IIRC.
