Your mix will work fine.

Ambroid is flexible which helps a little when joints are stressed. DOP will make it much more flexible, and possibly "liquify" the glue, so 2-3 drops per ounce (whatever A2Z's bigger needle point dispensor is) will be safe. A lot of people don't think DOP is a benefit.
