That was how I did it as well. I did try pre-sanding the edge of the
sheet then putting it in the Harlan cutter and stripping the piece
afterwards but found it just as easy to hold and sand.

> With the relatively heavy wood used for LPP, I just build outline with square spars, then freehand sand a curve in the air, with a small scrap of 320 sandpaper. Support back of spar with a free finger while sanding. Probably not recommended for newcomers or shaky fingers, or perfectionists, but I would bet that's how some of us do it. Eyeballs can accomplish a lot with indoor.
