With the relatively heavy wood used for LPP, I just build outline with square spars, then freehand sand a curve in the air, with a small scrap of 320 sandpaper. Support back of spar with a free finger while sanding. Probably not recommended for newcomers or shaky fingers, or perfectionists, but I would bet that's how some of us do it. Eyeballs can accomplish a lot with indoor.
