Comparing the rubber powered planes that I build and fly compared to what you guys build and fly is like comparing a 1958 Buick to a Lotus
19 (1961). Anyway, I cover with colored Reynolds wrap and have tried
many different ways to dust the plane. Recently I found that some para-
cord cores fray into almost a "feather duster" which seems to work. After fraying the core I wrap some Scotch tape a ways up from the end
depending on how looks. If you don't wrap it, it will be too flimsy to
do anything. Since I have never seen or been in the presence of microfilm I have no idea if this would work on it. I admire the planes on this group and hope one day to build one.
