Thanks, Marty. I've been googling "slide cleaners" and yes, the ionized air thing is rare, so far (only found patent descriptions.) I suppose a stream of air suitable for glass slides will be too violent for me anyhow. But I've coincidentally found a family of regular slide cleaning solutions that claim antistatic properties. These may be the way to go.
