I got into indoor 6 years ago. As a much younger man I used to go watch
the indoor Nats when they were held on the Navy bases and often figured
there was no way I could manage fo build, or fly something like that,
though my wife and I enjoyed watching for a while. Forward to 2003 and a
friend of mine badgered me into attending an indoor session and I watched
him fly a couple of minutes on a "gossamer" like model. I found out that
the model he was flying was an Ikara Super Bulldog and that it was an ARF
! I figured that if he could do it so could I and got one for myself. 6
years later I'm still hooked and mostly compete against myself and still
enjoy it and try to improve some each year. Had it not been for the ARF
though, I probably would never gotten into it at all. Now, I don't do
anything exotic but build an occasional LPP and MiniStick and watch this
list carefully for info that will help me improve. (That Super Bulldog
kit cost about 22 bucks back then - apparently there wasn't enough
interest for Ikara to stay with it)
