Tony Italiano's "Considerations to increase attendance at USIC/Nats" from 2004

A. Alter diversity of events
B. "Team" competition by state
C. Revise awards, i.e. cash or merchandise or parchments, etc.
D. USIC / Nats every other year
E. Delete some events to reduce rental by one day
F. Create a truly big scale program or DELETE!
G. Establish annual performance criteria w/ awards
H. Formal indoor symposium
I. More mass launch events
J. Emphasize more Jr / Sr activity
K. Include "NIMAS" in digest every 3 or 4 months
L. Send special letter to NIMAS members
M. Send special letter to USIC attendees 10 years back
N. Revise entry form to include a "donation" block
O. REQUIRE that open attendees donate "goodies"
P. Increase "special" events – (see below)
Q. Delete "builder of the model" rule (for all events)
R. Delete evening flying
S. Much more publicity at least 8 months prior by magazine coverage + direct mail + CV
T. Conduct several world wide by mail events during USIC / Nats (with much advance publicity)
U. Prior regional contests

Consider new events to help offset costs:
- Boomerang
- Towline glider
- Suspended balloon busting
- U-Control (rubber / electric)
- R/C
- Accuracy Challenge (various types)
