Re: Re: Solutions for Indoor FF
Don D.,
I have not been able to attend USIC since 2005 due to a combination of poor
health and lack of funds.
Locally I have not been able to get anyone interested in flying indoor FF
and have no site that I can use for testing. Trust me, testing by flying
across your living room doesn't really tell you much.
I would attend the flying in Okie City once in a while but I am a duration
flier and they rarely have any duration events at their meets. Mostly mass
launch NoCal and walk-a-long glider events. 4 hours each way is just too
much for me when I won't even have a chance to fly any of the events that I
love such as EZB, F1L, LPP, MiniStick, F1M, A-6, F1D, etc.
I do try to get up to Kansas City at least once a year although due to the
death of my mother I haven't made it yet this year.
