The mandrel alignment with the crotches of the bent "V" seems hardest for me; and if winding the wire around the mandrel pulls slightly, I just start over. There always seems to be fiddling for alignment after trimming wire. [There's a scientific term for the process...?] Always a headache when something slips early on, however.
